I wrote about them back in January. Commenting on the way through that this notion that you can’t record a Clubhouse chat is not just flawed, it’s wrong. I know. I recorded one. And it seems that recording is only the start of a possible breakdown … Are Clubhouse chats leaking? Here's what we know.

Meanwhile, you know that quaint idea of ‘mobile-first’? Forget about it - you need to be digital-first. Chris Lochhead commenting on how the future just changed and most people missed it.
I certainly missed that a 10-second video clip sold for $6.6 million a couple of weeks ago … but it’s even weirder ...
In October 2020, Miami-based art collector Pablo Rodriguez-Fraile spent almost $67,000 on (that same) 10-second video artwork that he could have watched for free online. Last week, he sold it for $6.6 million.
Finally, Ben Thompson talking about the Web’s Missing Interoperability. Old news to some, but as always, Ben doesn’t just write it … he shows it. As I keep reminding … platform is a fancy name for ‘silo’ - and a silo is where you keep homogenized commodities - like wheat, grain … and content.

Who is going to care? Well, hopefully this group will care about something and in that discussion do something about it. After all, we cannot all stay glued to our smart phones flipping from app to app to app. And we can also consider critical thinking and deeper reflection to still exist on some vista?
